Bad enough, intimidation
But worse, compression into a
Box;
Far worse, blindness to self-determinism
As the master key to myriad locks
That never exist,
For only the hand of fear
Holds closed the trap door of intrinsic freedom
Above which dwarfs struggle
To lift the giant's shadow
By holding its psyche within its own black;
To push open the lid –
One act of drama –
Both the giving and taking back.
